This Minolta Hi-Matic AF2 camera is in great condition and is fully functional. It comes with its original strap and case, and new batteries. Everything works as it should.

The film compartment, battery compartment, and viewfinder are clean and free of dust and damage. The lens is clean and clear with no scratches, haze, coating separation, and fungus. All levers, dials, and switches actuate as they should.

The Hi-Matic AF2 is one of the first ever autofocus point and shoot cameras, and was incredibly long-lived. The lens is a 38mm F/2.8, capable of taking excellent quality photos due to Minolta's wonderful optical coatings and an advanced lens formula. It uses a very accurate CdS cell for automatic exposure, resulting in perfect photos every time the shutter is pressed. Simply point and shoot.

The relatively fast maximum aperture of F/2.8 combines with a quick highest speed film setting of ISO 400 to allow low-light and available light shooting. Additionally, the built in user-selectable flash helps illuminate things in even the darkest situations.

The autofocus system is quick and accurate, allowing the user to focus on composition, framing, and having fun, while letting the camera do the job of calculating exposure and setting focus.
